Business Ventilation Fund

The Scottish Government’s Business Ventilation Fund will help businesses improve ventilation and air quality on their premises to help reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission.

The fund will allow businesses to claim back costs to improve ventilation of up to £2500.

Support will target high-risk settings where people come into close proximity, such as hospitality and leisure sectors.

Find out if you are eligible

To be eligible for funding, businesses must:

Is it expensive?

Applications to the fund are free.

However, businesses will be required to pay for the costs of pre-approved improvements and claim these costs back once the work has been finished (up to a maximum of £2500).

Some businesses may have already completed improvements to their ventilation prior to the fund opening. In this case, it will not be possible to claim costs back, but they may still be eligible for additional improvements depending on what was carried out previously.

How long does it take?

For eligible businesses, costs will be repaid once the application process is complete and verified receipts for work have been submitted and approved.

How can I apply?

To apply, businesses must complete an online self-assessment form, available from the Find Business Support website.

Applications will open week beginning 22 November 2021.

Eco Industry Solutions can offer adequate solutions that meet the criteria

CO2 measurement technology and measuring devices

At ECO Industry Solutions you have a range of measuring devices for monitoring the CO2 concentration in buildings and interiors such as classrooms, meeting rooms and all places where people are regularly present.

In times of the COVID-19, fresh, healthy air is crucial for a safe stay in closed rooms. As the CO2 concentration rises, so does the number of aerosols in the room air and thus the risk of a virus infection – it takes time to ventilate! Stay in control now with the new Eco Industry Solutions CO2 monitors:

Proffessional Air Purification with HEPA H14 Filtration

The TAC V+ll and AirgoClean One air purifier filters 99.995% of all viral aerosols from the air in as little as 6 minutes.

This has been scientifically confirmed by a study at the Bundeswehr University Munich. The study carried out under the direction of Prof. Christian Kähler proves that a our TAC V+ air purifier can halve the aerosol concentration in an 80 m² room within 6 minutes. In smaller rooms, it can be halved in only 3 minutes.

“If you run this system continuously, it will be impossible for an infectious aerosol concentration to build up in the room”.

Prof. Dr. Kähler, Institute for Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics at the Bundeswehr University Munich

Other benefits of high performance purifiers;

  • Mobile use, therefore flexible in installation and application
  • Filters 99.995% of harmful viruses and bacteria from the air
  • Allows an air change rate of up to 10 times per hour
  • Separated viruses are thermally killed in the H14 HEPA filter (EN 1822).
  • Ensures a lasting harmless aerosol concentration in the air
  • Low-maintenance operation thanks to innovative self-cleaning function
