Thermostat control for high comfort and low energy consumption
With the remote control and on the intuitive membrane keypad, 2 heating levels (1,200 watts and 2,000 watts) can be selected quickly and easily. The current room temperature is always shown on the LCD display. To enable you to optimally adjust the heating power of the TCH 2050 E to your room temperature, it has an intelligent temperature control by thermostat.
Simply enter your desired target room temperature in the range from 15 °C to 35 °C. The heat wave heater now heats the room until the preselected temperature is reached and then switches off automatically. As soon as reheating is required, the heater starts up again automatically so that the room temperature is kept constant. This procedure is particularly efficient and energy-saving, as the heater only heats as much as is necessary to provide a pleasant, comfortable warmth.
QUIET AND DUST-FREE HEAT
Since the Trotec heat wave heater does not require a fan compared to electric fan heaters, it does not raise any dust in the room. This is particularly pleasant not only for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. In addition, the TCH 2050 E generates its heat completely silently, so that it is recommended for use in the bedroom, for example. This means that you can sleep in a relaxed and restful manner even in very cold rooms, e.g. when you spend your first night in a holiday home that has not been used for a long time.
Timer function – programmable switching on and off
Equally convenient and energy-saving is the practical 24-hour timer of the comfort heater. On request, the device can be switched on or off fully automatically after an adjustable time (1-24 hours). For example, you can set the heater in the bedroom to switch itself off automatically after you fall asleep. Or you can preheat the kitchen in the morning so that you can enjoy your coffee while it is still warm.
Frost monitor function
To protect unheated rooms from excessive cooling and from damage caused by cold, the TCH 2050 E can also be used for frost protection. The integrated frost monitor function ensures that the room temperature does not drop below 5 °C. This also prevents water pipes and heating pipes from freezing. In particular, conservatories, greenhouses, garages and storage or cellar rooms that are not connected to a central heating system can be kept frost-free in this way.
For safe heating operation, the heat wave heater is equipped with an overheating protection which automatically switches off the unit if there is a risk of heat accumulation. The stable heater is also well protected against accidental overturning, e.g. by pets, careless guests or romping children, because the integrated toggle switch immediately deactivates the TCH 2050 E when it gets into an inclined position.

The 3-layer mica heating plates made of natural mica ore generate a pleasant infrared radiant heat in a very short time, which, in contrast to conventional radiant heaters, is not only emitted from one direction but simultaneously to the front and back. A further advantage of the high-quality mica heating elements is their full-surface and even heating. The intensive radiant heat is generated over the entire surface without loss of power and without oxygen consumption.
Room filling heat according to the principle of the sun
Infrared radiation works according to the natural principle of the sun. It does not heat the air, but the surfaces of the objects it encounters. The objects store the heat and gradually release it back into the room, so that the heat continues to work even after the heat wave heater has been switched off. On the skin, infrared radiation creates the pleasant feeling of natural solar heat.
