Versatile high-pressure fan for long air conveying distances in Ex protection zones
Proper ventilation is not only important for a pleasant working environment, but is also essential in many areas for reasons of occupational safety and due to official requirements.
The ventilation of rooms removes harmful substances such as paint or varnish fumes, welding smoke, dust particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon dioxide and water vapour.
The TFV 600 Ex is designed for a large conveying capacity in Ex-protected areas with high counter pressure, even with long transport routes via several interconnected air transport hoses.
This makes the TFV 600 Ex the ideal conveyor fan for ventilation in Ex-protection zones of class 2, for example for tank cleaning, in port facilities, refineries, shafts or silos.
Even with long hose distances of 50 meters with several bends, this powerful radial fan guarantees a high volume of air, because in contrast to axial fans, the TFV 600 Ex conveys the air perpendicular to the impeller axis according to the principle of a centrifuge, in which the air is pressed outwards and in a helical shape Housing is compacted.
And because the centrifugal fan, which is designed in accordance with ATEX directive 2014/34 / EU, is integrated into a robust, powder-coated steel housing with a highly resistant two-component paint finish of this quality device, which is completely made in Germany, it does not mind its use in aggressive environments. The housing is optionally available in all the required types of steel.
In addition to the frameless standard version, the TFV 600 Ex is optionally also available as shown, including an additional frame made of galvanized steel with robust transport rollers, forklift slots and crane lifting corners. The transport frame not only offers you maximum mobility for use in frequently changing locations, but can also be stacked twice to save space during transport or storage.
The switches, cables and plugs of the TFV 600 Ex are approved for use where there is a risk of explosion. Suitable coupling plugs that are approved for use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 can be supplied for connection extensions.
A star-delta contactor combination 18.5 kW for EX zone 22, 400 V, AC3, IP 55 is also optionally available for the TFV 600 Ex.
