Proper ventilation is not only important for a pleasant working environment, but is also mandatory in many areas for occupational safety reasons alone and due to official regulations.
The ventilation of rooms removes harmful substances such as paint or varnish fumes, welding fumes, dust particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon dioxide and water vapor.
Whether large-volume ventilation of duct and pipe systems in Class 2 explosion protection zones, tank cleaning of cargo ships or construction work in refinery areas – the TFV 900 EX high-pressure centrifugal fan, designed in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, is ideally equipped for such tasks because it conveys up to 25,000 m³/h of air even through connected air transport hoses on very long conveying distances with high back pressures and is designed to be extremely stable for harsh practical environments.
Aggressive environments do not affect this quality unit, as the centrifugal fan is integrated into a robust, powder-coated steel housing with a highly resistant two-component paint finish. All desired steel grades are optionally available.
In addition to the frameless standard version, the TFV 900 Ex is also available on request as shown including an additional frame made of galvanized steel with robust transport rollers, forklift slots and crane lifting corners. The transport frame offers you maximum mobility and is ideally suited for use at frequently changing locations.
Switches, cables and plugs of the TFV 900 Ex are approved for use under explosion hazard. Suitable coupling plugs can be supplied for connection extensions, which are approved for use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
Also optionally available for the TFV 900 Ex is a star-delta contactor combination 18.5 kW for EX zone 22, 400 V, AC3, IP 55.
